AionSi recognizes that responsible sourcing is part of responsible business, particularly where customers request supply-chain information, origin information or due-diligence evidence.
Supplier engagement
Where relevant, AionSi may request information from suppliers and business partners concerning legal compliance, ethical conduct, labor practices, environmental practices and responsible sourcing.
Customer requirements
AionSi may map customer-specific responsible sourcing questionnaires or supplier codes to its internal control areas and coordinate responses with relevant internal owners and suppliers.
Conflict minerals and minerals due diligence
Where applicable to a supplied product, component or customer requirement, AionSi will seek appropriate supplier information concerning responsible mineral sourcing and applicable due-diligence expectations. AionSi will not claim product-level conflict-minerals compliance without supporting evidence.
Continuous improvement
The responsible sourcing framework will mature as the relevance and availability of supply-chain information develops.
