This policy applies to aionsi.com, operated by AionSi India Private Limited (“AionSi”, “we”, “us” or “our”). A separate notice or agreement may apply to a particular service, recruitment process or business relationship.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with us, information may include:

• Business enquiries: name, business email, company, project details, engineering interests, protocol or interface requirements and information included in your message.
• Recruitment: contact details, CV or résumé, employment and education history, skills, portfolio links and other information you choose to provide when applying.
• Communications: information in emails, calls, meeting requests or other correspondence with AionSi.
• Technical and usage information: information that may be recorded by hosting, security or analytics tools, such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referral source, timestamps and website interactions.

Please do not submit confidential customer data or another person’s personal information unless necessary and you are authorised to share it.

3. How we use information

We may use information to respond to enquiries; discuss engineering engagements; evaluate applications and administer recruitment; operate, maintain, secure and improve the website; understand website performance where analytics are enabled; prevent misuse; maintain business records; meet legal obligations; and establish or defend legal claims.

We aim to use personal information for the purpose for which it was provided or another purpose permitted by applicable law.

4. Legal grounds and choices

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on your consent, steps taken at your request, legitimate business needs where legally permitted, or legal obligations. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us; this does not affect processing already carried out lawfully or processing that may continue on another lawful basis.

For individuals in India, we intend to handle digital personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection requirements, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the provisions and rules as they become applicable.

5. Cookies and analytics

The website uses essential technologies needed to deliver and secure the site. Where Google Analytics is configured, it is not loaded until you accept optional analytics through the website consent controls. If you reject optional analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Cookie preferences” in the website footer. Your choice is stored in this browser so it can be remembered on later visits. The consent control records the choice and timestamp; it does not itself mean every third-party technology is active.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, CV contents or other form-field values to Google Analytics. We review the analytics configuration when website tracking changes and update this notice when needed.

6. When we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. Where appropriate and permitted by law, we may share information with service providers supporting hosting, security, analytics, communications, recruitment or business operations; relevant AionSi entities or teams; professional advisers; and public authorities or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety or security. Service providers are expected to handle information appropriately and for authorised purposes.

7. International processing

AionSi has an international engineering presence and may use service providers or teams in more than one country. Where personal information is processed across borders, we will take steps required by applicable law and use appropriate safeguards where required.

8. Retention and security

Our proposed operational retention schedule, subject to legal and business review, is: unsuccessful recruitment applications for up to 6 months after the hiring decision or last meaningful contact; candidate profiles retained for future opportunities only where the candidate has made that choice, for up to 12 months before deletion or renewal; business enquiries for up to 24 months after the last substantive interaction; and routine security logs for 30–90 days where technically and operationally feasible. Recruitment emails and attachments follow the associated application’s retention period. We may retain information longer where required for legal obligations, disputes, security investigations or other lawful purposes. Backups and copies held by email providers may take additional time to expire under their normal retention cycles. These periods will be finalized after internal and legal review.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Privacy requests

Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access to information, correction or updating, deletion, withdrawal of consent or details about how your personal data is handled. Email dass.kishore@aionsi.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe what you need. We may need to verify your identity. Requests will be handled subject to applicable timelines and legal exceptions.

You may also have the right to raise a complaint with a relevant authority where provided by applicable law.

Our website may link to third-party websites or platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices; please review those notices before providing information.

11. Children’s privacy

Our website is intended for business and professional audiences. We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal information through this website. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our website, operations, technology or legal requirements. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
